Carl Colsman-Freyberger

Carl Colsman-Freyberger (born July 18, 1898 in Langenberg ; † May 14, 1983 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and secondary school with the completion of the Abitur , he initially participated in the war and then studied history , philosophy and art history from 1919 . From 1921 to 1922 he completed an apprenticeship in the textile industry and then worked in this branch. From 1939 to 1945 he was again in the military . Colsman-Freyberger then owned a cotton weaving mill in Mönchengladbach . In 1946 he was a co-founder of the CDU in Mönchengladbach. He was represented in numerous committees of the CDU and the employers' associations.

From July 23, 1962 to July 23, 1966 Colsman-Freyberger was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected from his party's national list. At times he was a member of the city ​​council in Mönchengladbach.
