Carl Friedman

Carl Friedman (born  April 29,  1952 in Eindhoven , Netherlands ; † March 27, 2020 in Amsterdam ; actually Carolina Klop ) was a Dutch writer .

Life

Carl Friedman grew up in a Catholic environment in Eindhoven and later in Antwerp . The aftermath of the Second World War and German National Socialism made their mark early on. From the age of 15, she wrote down her thoughts on this.

After school, Carl Friedman trained as a translator. She moved to Breda and worked in the editorial department of the daily De Stem for several years . After their divorce, Carl Friedman and her son settled in Amsterdam .
