Carl Giannoni
Carl Giannoni , also Karl Giannoni , (born July 20, 1867 in Vienna , † June 23, 1951 in Rekawinkel or Mödling , Lower Austria ) was an Austrian historian and monument protector.
Life
Carl Giannoni studied history, art history, geography and literature at the University of Vienna . In 1894 he received his doctorate phil.
From 1893 to 1895 he worked as an archivist and librarian in the Imperial Lower Austrian Lieutenancy in the archive set up by Erich von Kielmansegg and then moved to the Ministry of Finance . In addition, he was also on the Central Commission for Monument Preservation.
Before the First World War , in 1913, he became a consultant for homeland security in the Ministry of Public Works . At the end of the war he became a councilor and in 1921 a councilor .
He later moved to the Ministry of Education. He is buried at the cemetery in Hinterbrühl .
