Carl Hauss

Carl Hauß (born January 25, 1855 in Löbejün , Province of Saxony , † May 30, 1942 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Hauß studied law at the University of Jena and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He was a member of the Corps Thuringia Jena (1875) and the Corps Suevia Munich (1877). After completing her traineeship and doctorate as a Dr. iur. he joined the Imperial Patent Office in 1883 as a legal assistant . In 1896 he switched to the supervisory authority for patent matters in the Reich Ministry of the Interior . In 1902 he became President of the Patent Office. On November 18, 1905, he took over the new building of the Reich Patent Office in Berlin-Kreuzberg . Hauss praised the secrecy and inaccessibility of his employees. With the characterization as Real Privy Council , he received the title of excellence .
