Carl Kauba

Carl Kauba (* 1865 in Vienna ; † 1922 there ) was an Austrian sculptor and small sculptor .

Life

After learning the chasing trade , Carl Kauba graduated from the technical college for chiselling and bronze workers . He then studied in 1892/93 with Karl Waschmann at the Vienna School of Applied Arts . Subsequently, Kauba produced particularly numerous animal bronzes and depictions of Indians. Most of these then ended up in the United States . In 1897 he presented the bust Pallas in red and yellow bronze in the Vienna Künstlerhaus . Kauba was a member of the Wiener Künstlerhaus cycling club.
