Carl Philipp Heinrich Kronen (born May 17, 1797 in Leubnitz , † February 14, 1879 in Dresden ) was a German musician, piano teacher and composer.

Life

Carl Kronen was appointed court pianist to Crown Prince Albert in Dresden in 1854 . He was also an official at the royal court in Dresden. He lived on Amalienstraße, part of today's St. Petersburger Straße .

Kalten was a colleague and friend of Robert Schumann , Ferdinand Hiller and Friedrich Wieck .
