Carl Reinthal
Carl Gottlieb Reinthal (* December 27, 1796 . Jul / 7. January 1797 greg. In Karkus , Governorate of Livonia , † September 8 jul. / 20th September 1872 greg. In Tartu , Governorate of Livonia) was a Baltic German pastor and Author .
Live and act
From 1814 to 1817 Reinthal studied theology in Dorpat; as a pastor's adjunct and then as a pastor he worked in Rauge from 1828 to 1844. From 1849 to 1854 and then from 1856 to 1857 he worked as editor of the magazine " Das Inland ". From 1851 to 1853 Reinthal was president of the Estonian Scholarly Society (GEG), of which he was a founding member (1838).
