Carl Rudolph von Romeick

Carl Rudolph Romeick , from 1911 by Romeick , (born September 26, 1855 in Ackmenischken (East Prussia), † December 31, 1933 in Stuttgart ) was a German judge .

Life

He went to school in Insterburg. After his father's death, he attended the Collegium Fridericianum from the orphanage. After graduating from high school in 1873, he first studied philology, then law in Königsberg and from 1877 in Leipzig. The Reich High Commercial Court Judge Robert Römer induced him to take his legal traineeship in Tübingen. Therefore, in 1878, he was sworn in to the sovereign of Württemberg. In 1879 he became a court assessor, then a lawyer. He worked as a district judge in Stuttgart from 1883, in Heilbronn from 1885. In 1886 he became a district judge in Rottweil. From 1896 he was appointed as a public prosecutor, in 1898 as a district judge. In 1903 he was appointed higher regional judge. He was chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the commission for the training and examination of notaries. In 1905, as a Prussian citizen, he came to the Reich Court in Leipzig as a Reich Judge. He was in the III. Civil Senate active. In 1914 he served as a reserve officer with the 7th Württemberg Infantry Regiment No. 125 , most recently as captain of the Landwehr, after his report to the front had been rejected because of his age. He retired as a Reich judge in December 1923.
