Carl Schumacher (politician)

Ludwig Heinrich Christian Carl Schumacher (born June 10, 1799 in Arolsen , † June 19, 1854 there ) was a German judge and politician .

Schumacher was the son of the Privy Councilor Wolrad Schumacher and his wife Maria Carolina Franziska nee Gebhard. On November 8, 1827, he married Fanny Böger, a daughter of the court advisor Thomas Böger. Schumacher studied law and became government procurator and lawyer in 1825. In 1829 he became a judicial officer in the Oberjustizamt der Werbe in Sachsenhausen and in 1842 he was appointed judicial councilor, first official and criminal judge there. In 1849 he became a senior judge.

From 1851 to 1852 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in constituency IV. In 1852 he was vice president of the state parliament.
