Carl Teibler

Carl Teibler , also Karl Teibler (born December 13, 1821 in Vienna , † December 25, 1895 in Perchtoldsdorf ) was an Austrian portrait and history painter .

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Carl Gsellhofer , Leopold Kupelwieser and Johann Ender . The Historical Museum of the City of Vienna has his self-portrait from 1861. Carl Teibler was the father of the painter Georg Teibler (1854–1911).
