Carlijn Jans (born July 24, 1987 in Breda ) is a Dutch volleyball player .

Career

Carlijn Jans played volleyball in her home country since 2004 for Sliedrecht Sport and a year later for Martinus Amstelveen , with whom she won two Dutch championships and one cup. After a year at the Italian Chieri Volley Club , she returned to AMVJ Amstelveen in the Netherlands in 2008 . In 2009/10 the middle blocker played for the German Bundesliga club Schweriner SC and took first place in the German volleyball rankings in the block category. In 2010 she returned to the Netherlands because of a pregnancy. After the birth of her son, she continued her volleyball career at Alterno Apeldoorn .

Carlijn Jans made 48 appearances for the Dutch national team .
