Chieri Volley Club (or Chieri Torino Volley Club ) is an Italian women's volleyball club from Chieri ( metropolitan city of Turin ) in the Italian region of Piedmont , which plays in the Italian A1 series.
history
The Chieri Volley Club was founded in 1976. In 2003 the women rose to the top Italian league "Serie A1". Under the sponsor name Bigmat Kerakoll Chieri they won the Top Teams Cup internationally in 2005 and reached the final in the CEV Cup in 2006 . After relegation to the "Serie A2" in 2009, Chieri was promoted again in 2011.
