Logan Maile Lei Tom (born May 25, 1981 in Napa , California , United States ) is an American volleyball and beach volleyball player . She took part in four Olympic tournaments and became vice world champion in 2002.

Career

Logan Tom played at Stanford University in California from 1999 to 2002 . The exceptional player has been playing on different continents since 2002, changing clubs every year: 2002/03 at MRV Minas in Belo Horizonte in Brazil and 2003/04 at Monte Schiavo Jesi in Italy, where she won the silver medal at the CEV Cup . With the league competitor Chieri Volley Club, she won the Top Teams Cup in 2004/05 , before playing at VBC Voléro Zurich in Switzerland in 2005/06 . In 2006/07 she won the bronze medal in the Champions League with the Spanish club Marichal Tenerife . In 2007/08 she played at Dynamo Moscow in Russia, 2008/09 at Hisamitsu Springs in Japan, 2009/10 at Asystel Novara in Italy, 2010/11 at Guangdong Evergrande in China and 2011/12 at Fenerbahçe Universal in Turkey, with the she won the Champions League . Logan Tom has been back in Brazil for Unilever Vôlei since 2012 .

Logan Tom made his debut in 2000 at the age of 19 in the US national team , where she finished fourth at the Olympic Games in Sydney . She took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and finished fifth here. At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , she won the silver medal. Logan Tom took part in three world championships , where she was runner-up in Germany in 2002 . She won numerous medal ranks at the World Grand Prix , the World Cup , the NORCECA Championships and the Pan-American Games . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , she again won the silver medal.

Logan Tom was also active in beach volleyball. In 2006 and 2007 she played on the US AVP tour a . a. at the side of Holly McPeak , with whom she also competed twice on the FIVB World Tour in 2007.
