Monte Schiavo Jesi is an Italian women's volleyball club from Jesi ( Marche region ), which played in the Italian A1 series from 2001 to 2010.

history

Monte Schiavo Jesi was founded in 1969 and played from 2001 to 2010 in the top Italian division "Serie A1". The women always played in the top group and reached the final in the Italian championship in 2006 and 2007. In 2006 they reached the Italian cup final. Monte Schiavo Jesi was also successful in Europe. In 2004 they finished second and in 2005 third in the CEV Cup. In the Champions League , Monte Schiavo reached the quarter-finals in 2007/08 and in 2009 they won the Challenge Cup . The team also appeared under the names "Vini Monteschiavo Jesi", "Monte Schiavo Banca Marche Jesi" and "Giannino Pieralisi Volley". In 2010 the team withdrew to the "Series B2".
