Francesca Piccinini (born January 10, 1979 in Pietrasanta ) is an Italian volleyball player who took part in the Olympic Games four times ( 2000 , 2004 , 2008 and 2012 ) for the women's national team . She celebrated her greatest success with the national team in 2002 during the World Cup in Germany , when the team celebrated winning the title. In 2007 she became European Champion in Belgium and 2009 in Poland .

She made her national team debut against the USA in 1995.

With her club Volley Bergamo , Piccinini was Italian champion four times (2002, 2004, 2006 and 2011) and won the Champions League five times (2000, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010). In 2010 she was named “Most Valuable Player”. With Pomì Casalmaggiore , she won the Champions League again in 2016. With Igor Gorgonzola Novara , she won the Italian championship in 2017 and the Champions League in 2019.

Piccinini was also active as a photo model , so several pictures of her appeared in the Italian Men's Health .
