Carlo Lievore
Carlo Lievore (born November 10, 1937 in Carré , Vicenza province , † October 9, 2002 in Turin ) was an Italian javelin thrower who was active in the 1960s . The four-time national champion took part in two Olympic Games .
The following annual bests were recorded for Carlo Lievore:
year | 1958 | 1960 | 1961 | 1962 | 1969 |
Width (m) | 80.72 | 83.60 | 86.74 | 83.65 | 80.80 |
With the 86.74 m thrown in Milan on June 1, 1961 , he improved the two-year-old world record of the American Al Cantello by exactly 70 cm.

- EM 1958 in Stockholm : 11th place (68.88 m)
- EM 1962 in Belgrade : 6th place with 76.25 m. With his 80.20 m thrown in the qualification, he would have won the silver medal.
- EM 1969 in Athens : 12th place (72.06 m)
State championships: 1960 (76.21 m), 1961 (75.48 m), 1964 (76.21 m) and 1969 (80.80 m)
