Carlos Alberto Fernández
Carlos Alberto Fernández (born December 2, 1907 in Buenos Aires , † in the 20th century) was an Argentine diplomat .
Life
Carlos Alberto Fernández was the son of Josefina Cobas and Ubaldo Fernández. He married Maria Julia Romero Victoria; their children are Julia Elena F. de Raceo, Ana María (the widow of Andrés José d'Alessio ), Carlos Alberto, María Inés, Clara Josefina, María Cecilia and Raúl Ubaldo. From 1926 to 1931 he studied law and social science at the Universidad de Buenos Aires . In 1945 he was employed by the Buenos Aires City Council and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. From 1947 to 1951 he was second class counselor in Rome . From 1952 to 1954 he was a second class counselor in San José (Costa Rica) . In 1956 he was a delegate at the Conferencia para el Año Geofísico Internaciónal in Barcelona , and at the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City . In 1957 he was appointed Legation Councilor, First Class, and was appointed by the Ministerio de Gobierno y Acción Social y juego de Hda. y Etan. del Intervención Federal en San Juan. In 1958 he was appointed envoy. From 1959 to 1961 he was Ministre plénipotentiaire in Dublin . In 1962 he was ambassador to Cairo . From 1963 to 1966 he was ambassador to Rio de Janeiro . From 1970 to 1972 he was ambassador to Vienna .
