Carlos Walter Ariel Chaile (born January 14, 1975 in San Miguel de Tucumán ) is an Argentine football player on the position of central defender . He is currently a trainer at the St. Pölten Football Academy.

Career

Chaile began his active career in his native Argentina with Ferro Carril Oeste . He also played at Club Almagro in Buenos Aires and at Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta in Salta . His first professional position in Europe was in 2001 at FC St. Gallen in the Swiss premier league. In 2003 he went to Austria to join SV Pasching , which was renamed SK Austria Kärnten in 2007 and moved to Klagenfurt . In 2009 he was kicked out of the squad by coach and sports director Frenk Schinkels . After his resignation, Chaile was brought in 2010 by the Academy of SK Austria Carinthia as a coach for the U-17 and also hired by the regional league club FC St. Veit as head of defense. After their relegation, he moved to the Carinthian regional division SV Spittal for the 2010/2011 season .
