Carlos Alberto Oliva Castillo

Carlos Alberto Oliva Castillo alias La Rana (Spanish for " The Frog "; * 1974 ) is an alleged Mexican criminal. According to the prosecutor, he was responsible for the activities of the Zetas in the states of Coahuila , Nuevo León and Tamaulipas and was a close confidante of the cartel leader Heriberto Lazcano .

According to the prosecutor, Castillo is said to have ordered the arson attack on the Casino Royale in Monterrey in 2011 , in which 52 people were killed.

Castillo was arrested on October 13, 2011 in Saltillo , Coahuila state. One civilian was killed and eight people, including three police officers, were injured.
