Carlos Rafael Conrado Marion-Landais Castillo
Carlos Rafael Conrado Marion-Landais Castillo (born August 13, 1940 in Santo Domingo ) is a Dominican diplomat.
Life
He is married and has four kids. In 1962 he completed a degree in civil engineering and in 1968 a degree in pedagogy at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo . He practiced the profession of consulting civil engineer.
In addition, he was entrusted with the following tasks: From 1963 to 1993 he was a mathematics teacher at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo . From 1986 to 1987 he was President of the Dominican Oil Refinery. From 1987 to 1988 he was State Secretary for Industry and Trade. From 1989 to 1994 he was Vice President of the Dominican airline. In 1972 he was a founding member of the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology, which he headed from 1990 to 1993 as rector. From 1995 to 1996 he was an advisor to the Ministry of Education, Art and Culture. From 1999 to 2003 he was general manager for primary school construction. He was a founding member, president and board member of the San José Foundation, which works for the poor and the development of farming families.
He speaks English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
