Carlos jerk up
Carlos Federico Ruckauf (born July 10, 1944 in Ramos Mejía ) is a Peronist politician from Argentina and a member of the Peronist Party .
Life
Until March 1976, before the military dictatorship ( process of national reorganization ), Ruckauf was Minister of Labor in the government of Isabel Martínez de Perón . After a civilian government was restored in 1983, he became Minister of the Interior and, in July 1995, Vice President of the State of Argentina in the cabinet of Carlos Menem . He held this office until December 10, 1999. In the same year he won the elections for governor of Buenos Aires. However, he had to give up the post in December 2001, at the time of the Argentina crisis . He was offered the office of Foreign Minister in the new cabinet under Eduardo Duhalde , which he accepted and held until May 25, 2003. Later in the year he was elected to the Argentine Chamber of Deputies, where he represented the Province of Buenos Aires. He was there at the time of Néstor Kirchner's government in the opposition until he vacated his seat in parliament in 2007.
