Carol Burandt from Kameke

Carol Burandt von Kameke (* 1978 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German cameraman .

Carol Burandt von Kameke worked as a camera assistant in film and television from 2000 . From 2006 to 2008 he completed a camera degree at the Hamburg Media School , where his first short films were made. The short films Schautag and Oshima earned him a nomination for the German Camera Prize in 2009 and 2011 . At the Uganda Film Festival 2015 he won the award for the best cinematography with the film Abaabi Ba Boda Boda .

Between 2012 and 2017 he repeatedly held lectureships as a guest lecturer at the Media Academy Hamburg and the HBK Braunschweig . Larger film and television productions followed. From September 2017 to August 2019 he had a permanent position as a feature film cameraman at Hessischer Rundfunk .
