Carol Feeney

Carol Feeney (born October 4, 1964 in Oak Park , Illinois ) is a former American rower .

Feeney won the NCAA championships in 1986 with the eighth of the University of Wisconsin . In the same year she finished fourth with the US eighth at the 1986 World Rowing Championships . Three years later she reached the final again with eighth at the 1989 World Championships and finished sixth. At the 1991 World Rowing Championships in Vienna, she finished fourth with eighth. In 1992 she switched to the four without a helmsman , who won silver behind the Canadians and ahead of the Germans at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona with Shelagh Donohoe , Cynthia Eckert , Amy Fuller and Carol Feeney .

Feeney later became a teacher at a school in Arlington , Massachusetts .
