Carol of Harvest is the debut album by the German Krautrock band of the same name from Fürth . The album was released on the label Brutkasten from Nuremberg.
Despite the small edition of only 200 pieces and the band split up soon after the recording, the album received a remarkable reception, also outside of Germany.

The band existed from 1976 to 1978 and was named after the poem A carol of harvest by Walt Whitman from 1867. Models were Camel , Pink Floyd , Gentle Giant , Renaissance and Clannad .
