Carolina Sessi

Carolina Sessi (also: Karolina ; * 1796 [Kutsch-Riemens: 1799] - in Vienna ? † October 1, 1874 in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, district of Massa Lubrense ) was an Italian opera singer with a soprano voice .

Life

Victoria Sessi was one of five daughters of the singer Giovanni Sessi . She worked mainly in Italy. In 1811 she married the patrician Mario Spinelli in Naples. In 1812 she was a member of the Vienna Court Theater. She then sang at the Teatro del Fondo in Naples for some time before giving up the stage.
