Massa Lubrense is a municipality with 14,308 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Naples , Campania region . It is part of the mountain commune Comunità Montana Monti Lattari - Penisola Sorrentina . Sorrento is the only neighboring town of Massa Lubrense. The place was the seat of a diocese until 1818 .
