Caroline Sihol , also Caroline Silhol (born August 10, 1949 in Paris ) is a French actress .

Life

Caroline Sihol finished her acting studies in 1974 at the renowned Parisian film school Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . That same year she made her debut in by Jean-Pierre Mocky staged comedy L'ombre d'une chance alongside Roger Lumont and Jenny Arasse on the canvas. At the same time she played theater and was finally able to establish herself as an actress in French cinema. In recent years she has appeared in the role of Marlene Dietrich in the Oscar-winning film La vie en rose .

Sihol is the longtime partner of the film producer Jean-Louis Livi .
