Carsten Karmanski

Carsten Karmanski (born September 21, 1968 in Essen ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court in Kassel .

Life

Carsten Karmanski studied law at the Ruhr University Bochum and finished his studies in 1993 with the first state examination . This was followed by the legal clerkship in Essen and in 1996 the second state examination. He began his legal career as a legal advisor for a telecommunications company. In October 1997 Carsten Karmanski entered the social justice system of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . First he was a judge at the Dortmund Social Court until November 2004 . This was followed by an appeal as a judge at the State Social Court of North Rhine-Westphalia and, on September 1, 2009, finally as a judge at the Federal Social Court. He is a member of the 5th Senate of the Federal Social Court, which is responsible for statutory pension insurance.

In addition to his judicial work, Karmanski is a co-author of legal commentaries on social assistance , accident insurance and employment promotion law .
