Carsten Steenbergen (born June 6, 1973 in Düsseldorf ) is a German novelist and screenwriter.

life and work

Carsten Steenbergen received his diploma in administrative management (FH) in Düsseldorf at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1998 . He lives in Mönchengladbach in the Lower Rhine region and works in Neuss as a software supervisor and developer.
His first novel Tiefes Land was published by Psychothriller (Verlag) in 2012 and stayed at number 1 on the Amazon best list for three weeks. Carsten Steenbergen was nominated for the German Fantasy Prize in 2008, 2009 and 2010 , and in 2012 for the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize for “Best Story”. In December 2012 his second novel Teufelsacker was published by Feder & Schwert , in December 2014 the agent thriller series Crane followed by Droemer Knaur , then Mad Rush, an adaptation of the thriller series as a novel, by Droemer Knaur. Carsten Steenbergen is a founding member of the Fantastic Authors Network (PAN).
