Carsten Struwe (born May 31, 1962 in Hagen ) is a German automobile racing driver .

Career

Struwe started his career in the German Renault 5 Cup, in which he competed in 1987 and 1988. In 1989 he started in the Renault Elf Europa Cup, in which he finished 24th. In 1990 he switched to the DTM, in which he drove a BMW M3 for the private Tauber Motorsport team. He couldn't get any points. He also drove in the DTM in 1993 in Team Maass in a private M3 and in 1994 in a private Alfa Romeo belonging to the Engstler team. He couldn't score any points in those two seasons either. In 2007 he competed in the SEAT Leon Endurance Challenge, in which he was able to achieve third place. Struwe has been in the GT4 European Series since 2015. In 2015 he was eleventh in the Pro Class and ninth in the Am Class.
