The GT4 European Series 2016 is the ninth season of the GT4 European Cup for GT cars of the GT4 group .

Race calendar and results

Of the total of six race weekends, the season opener took place as part of the Blancpain Sprint Series 2016 . The second weekend on the Circuit de Pau took place as part of the Grand Prix de Pau and was at the same time the first of the GT4 European Series on a street circuit. Races three and four at Silverstone and Spa will be the first endurance races in the series and will be held together with the British GT Championship . The fifth race on the Hungaroring will be held as part of the 2016 DTM season , the season finale as part of the final races in Zandvoort .
