Championship results

In addition to the driver and team ranking for the entire field, the SRO has also announced a Gentleman Trophy for 2011 . Only the bronze-bronze driver pairings were evaluated here and ultimately awarded a driver's title. The distribution of points was the same as in the regular championship.

Point system

Both races on a weekend were rated equally. The current point system was introduced for the 2010 season and corresponds to that of the championship race of the FIA GT1 World Championship .

Point system
placement 1 2 3 4th 5 6th 7th 8th 9 10
Points 25th 18th 15th 12 10 8th 6th 4th 2 1

Penalty system

While in the past few years the top three in a race were burdened with success weight, from the 2011 season the best cars will be penalized with penalty seconds. These must be dismounted at the next race as part of the mandatory pit stop. This means that if the regular minimum idle time for a race is 80 seconds, the victorious vehicle has to spend 95 seconds in the pits. The following penalty seconds were distributed:

Penalty system
placement 1 2 3 from 4
Seconds 15th 10 5 0
