Touring Cars & Gran Turismo

From 2005 to 2007 Fischer Racing won the driver's title in the German one-make cup SEAT León Supercopa three times : in 2005 and 2007 with Thomas Marschall and in 2006 with Florian Gruber .

In 2009, Fischer Racing switched to the FIA GT3 European Championship with GT3 versions of the Ford GT developed by Matech Concepts . The regular drivers were Florian Gruber and the Dane Christoffer Nygaard . The season was shared by five different drivers in the second Ford GT . Nygaard drove together with Walter Lechner jr. also for Fischer Racing in the ADAC GT Masters .

In 2010, Fischer Racing was the only Ford team to remain in the FIA GT3 European Championship and only entered one vehicle under its own name. In addition to Nygaard, the Finn Mikko Eskelinen became a regular driver of the Ford GT sponsored by the energy drink Mad-Croc . Florian Gruber represented Nygaard for the weekend in Portugal .

Besides participating in the FIA GT3 European Championship and the FIA GT1 World Championship joined the team as Young Driver AMR in 2010 also at the 24-hour race at Le Mans on. The regular drivers Christoffer Nygaard and Tomáš Enge shared an Aston Martin DBR9 with Peter Kox . In preparation for the race at Le Mans, Young Driver AMR also took part in the 1000 km race at Spa-Francorchamps , which was held as part of the Le Mans Series .

In 2011 , Fischer Racing continued racing in the FIA GT3 European Championship with two vehicles under its own name. Eskelinen and Nygaard were again used as regular drivers. The second Ford GT was shared by six different drivers during the season.

Contrary to reports to the contrary, Young Driver AMR no longer took part in the GT1 World Championship in 2012. Instead, this year the team focused on racing two Aston Martin Vantages from the GT3 group in the ADAC GT Masters . The drivers of the 2012 season were the brothers Johannes and Ferdinand Stuck as well as Christoffer Nygaard and his Danish compatriot Kristian Poulsen , who was runner-up in the amateur championship. In the same year, Young Driver AMR also took part in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with the Vantage GT3 . At the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2012 , Fischer Racing acted as a team for an Aston Martin Vantage GT2 for Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian Poulsen and Allan Simonsen, naming Aston Martin Racing .

FIA GT1 World Championship

In 2010 , Fischer Racing took part in the newly announced FIA GT1 World Championship as Young Driver Aston Martin Racing . The driver pairings of the two Aston Martin DBR9s were Tomáš Enge and Darren Turner as well as Stefan Mücke and Christoffer Nygaard. At the races in Portugal and Argentina Nygaard was replaced by the local drivers Pedro Lamy and José María López . Turner and Enge finished fourth in the drivers' championship. The team achieved the same place in the team standings and helped Aston Martin together with Hexis Racing to win the manufacturer's title.

2011 replaced Alex Müller Crystoffer Nygaard, while the other driver were retained and redistributed: Darren Turner drove together with Stefan Mucke; Tomáš Enge with new addition Müller. Mücke and Turner were runner-up in the drivers' standings, while the team dropped from first to third place in the team standings at the last weekend of the season.

Young Driver AMR confirmed their participation in the FIA GT1 World Championship for 2012 early on , but did not compete after the Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 was no longer eligible due to a rule change and the GT1 World Championship relied solely on GT3 vehicles.
