Johannes-Emanuel Stuck (born October 22, 1986 ) is a former Austrian racing driver . He is a son of the racing driver Hans-Joachim Stuck and a brother of the racing driver Ferdinand Stuck .

Career

Stuck began his motorsport career in touring car racing . In 2003 he was 13th in the ADAC Volkswagen Lupo Cup, a year later he was 15th overall in the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup . In 2005 Stuck switched to the German Mini Challenge and finished both his first and his second season in fifth place in the championship. He also took part in the VLN endurance championship in 2006 . In 2007 Stuck only took part in a few races of the German Mini Challenge and finished the season in 16th place in the championship. He also made his debut in the Le Mans Series , in which he competed in the LMGT2 classification. In the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring , he achieved victory in the SP6 category.

In 2008 Stuck only took part in two races in the ADAC GT Masters and in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. In 2009 he was active in various racing classes. He competed in the ADAC GT Masters, the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo , the FIA GT3 European Championship and the VLN Endurance Championship . He achieved the best overall placement in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, which he finished in tenth championship rank. In 2010 Stuck competed in four races of the FIA GT3 European Championship as well as two races each of the ADAC GT Masters and the Racecar Euro Series . In addition, he took part in long-distance races.

In 2011 , Stuck and his brother Ferdinand competed for Reiter Engineering in the ADAC GT Masters and in the German GT Championship . In the course of the season they achieved four race wins and became German GT champions and runner-up in the ADAC GT Masters.

In 2012 Johannes and his brother Ferdinand tackled the ADAC GT Masters again with an Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3. Unfortunately, due to many technical defects, the brothers only had to accept fourth place as a highlight. In the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, a tire damage on the fourth lap of the race made a good result impossible.

For 2013, Johannes and his brother decided to start the season in the VLN Endurance Championship, on an AUDI R8 LMS ultra from Phoenix Racing. In the 24-hour race, they finished in eighth place overall as the second-best AUDI after starting from pole position. Despite numerous kilometers in the lead, Johannes was only able to celebrate one overall victory. Tire damage and other technical defects in a promising position prevented further victories and podium positions.

Stucco3

Stuck3 was registered as a trademark in 2011 and served Johannes, Ferdinand and Strietzel as the brand name for the joint races in 2011. Due to the joint successes, especially in 2011 , it was decided to keep the name for the other joint projects. The Stuck3 Facebook page is one of the most popular among German motorsport enthusiasts. At the beginning of 2013 the Stuck3 website was revised. Johannes played a leading role in the design and implementation of the marketing and communication activities of the Stuck3 project.
