Luca Pirri
Luca Pirri-Ardizzone (born April 18, 1973 in Rome ) is an Italian racing driver .
Career in motorsport
Luca Pirri is managing director at Vagabondo , one of the largest Italian adventure travel organizers. In his spare time he is an amateur racing driver in GT racing .
His first races were in the 2004 FIA GT Championship , where he drove a Saleen S7R for Graham Nash Racing . In 2007 he won the Corvette Cup of the FIA GT3 European Championship together with Jürgen von Gartzen and repeated this success with partner Diego Alessi in 2009 .
Appearances in the European Le Mans Series and the International GT Open followed in the 2010s . 2010 , he played on a Lola B08 / 80 , the 24-hour race at Le Mans , but came to a suspension defect in the LMP2 failed to finish race car.
