The SRO Motorsports Group is an organization that mainly deals with the promotion of racing series. It was founded in 1995 as the Stéphane Ratel Organization by Stéphane Ratel and is based in London.

The SRO initially organized the Lamborghini Diablo Supertrophy from 1995 . Ratel himself co-founded the BPR in 1994, which organized the international championship for Gran Turismos with the BPR Global GT Series in 1995 and 1996 . In 1997 this championship became part of the FIA GT championship under the Egide of the SRO and has been promoting it to this day.

In addition to the FIA ​​GT, the SRO also organizes other series, such as the FIA GT3 European Championship or the GT 90s Revival . These also include numerous national GT series, such as the ADAC GT Masters . This is managed by SRO Germany in the hands of Jürgen Barth , another co-founder of the BPR.

For 2007, the former Belcar was also taken over by SRO Belgium . SRO Belgium organizes the series now called Belgian GT Championship . In addition, she was also responsible for organizing the first season of the GT4 European Cup in 2007.

Other series organized by the SRO are the French GT Championship , the British GT Championship and the Brazilian GT3 Championship from SRO Latin America . The British Formula 3 Championship is also part of the SRO empire.

Two more series have been announced for 2009. National championships for the GT4 were to be held in Germany and the Netherlands. The German series was canceled due to the economic crisis, the Dutch started as planned.
