Nicolas Marroc (born December 5, 1986 in La Roche-sur-Yon ) is a French racing driver .

Career

Marroc began his motorsport career in karting in 2004 , in which he was active until 2005. Then he gave in 2006 in the French Formula Renault Campus, where he finished ninth overall in his debut season, his debut in Formula racing . In 2007 he competed in the French Formula Renault and in some races of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and remained without points in both series. In 2008, Marroc did not get a cockpit for a full season and he contested several races in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and in the Western European Formula Renault, in which he finished 27th overall with one point.

In 2009, Marroc switched to the German Formula 3 Cup and, with fifth place as the best result, was twelfth in the drivers' standings. He also made two guest starts in the British Formula 3 championship . For the 2010 season , Marroc received a cockpit from the Prema Powerteam alongside Daniel Juncadella for the Formula 3 Euro Series . At the end of the season he finished eleventh overall with a second place as the best result. He was also active for Prema in the Italian Formula 3 championship . He finished twelfth overall with a third place as the best result. He also made guest starts in the British Formula 3 championship .

In 2011 Marroc made his GT debut in the International GT Open . He participated in four races and was 20th in the championship. He also competed in the Le Mans 24-hour race and the Le Mans Series . He won the FLM rating there once and finally came in sixth. After the season Marroc returned to formula racing and joined Ocean Racing Technology at the 2011 GP2 Final , which he finished in 18th place.

Since 2012, Marroc has mainly competed in GT and sports car races . He started in the Blancpain Endurance Series , the French GT Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup France . In 2017 he drove a Norma F20 MC in the V de V Endurance Series .
