Dino Lunardi (born October 25, 1978 in Nîmes ) is a French racing car driver . He has been competing in the FIA GT3 European Championship since 2008 . He has also been competing in the ADAC GT Masters since 2011 . There he won the championship title in 2011 together with Alexandros Margaritis .

Career

Lunardi began his motorsport career in formula racing and took part in the French Formula Ford in 2003 . In 2005 he switched to touring car / GT racing and competed in the Peugeot RC Cup for two years . After becoming runner-up in his first season, he won the championship title in 2006. In 2007 he competed in the THP Spider Cup and also won the championship title here. He also started some races in the Diester Racing Cup and finished fourth overall.

In 2008 , Lunardi switched to the FIA GT3 European Championship . He competed for various teams and finished eighth in the championship with two podium finishes. He also took part in four races of the French GT Championship and won one of them. He also made two guest starts in the THP Spider Cup. He won both races there, starting from pole position. In 2009 , Lunardi took part in the first eight races of the FIA ​​GT3 European Championship for Matech GT Racing and in two other races of this championship for Mühlner Motorsport . He managed to win a race at the Adria International Raceway together with Eric De Doncker . He finished eleventh in the championship.
