history

2010

The LMP Motorsport team emerged from a cooperation between Guillaume Lecluse and Yves Migeon with Lompech Motor Sport in 2010 and has only used Aston Martin DBRS9 with the GT3 specification since it was founded .

In 2010 LMP competed in the French GT Championship with the two driver pairs Anthony Beltoise and Nicolas Tardif as well as Grégory Guilvert and Grégoire Demoustier . The best result of the year was a fifth place in a race in Dijon-Prenois .

2011

In 2011, LMP again competed in the French GT Championship with two vehicles. Arnaud Santamato and Luc Paillard as well as Paul Lamic and Frédéric Gabillon drove for the team, who achieved the best result with a podium. In the same year, LMP also placed two Aston Martin DBRS9s in the FIA GT3 European Championship . One vehicle was occupied by different drivers from race to race, while the second was driven by Maxime Martin and Gaël Lesoudier for the whole season . Martin and Lesoudier achieved three podium positions and finished seventh in the drivers' championship. The LMP Motorsport team achieved eighth place in the team ranking.

2012

In 2012 LMP was responsible for the deployment of two Aston Martin DBRS9s in the FIA GT1 World Championship . The series promoter SRO initiated this commitment in order to increase the number of vehicles in the championship to the necessary minimum. The team started as Valmon Racing Team Russia with the involvement of the main Russian sponsor . Andreas Zuber competed with Sergei Afanassjew . Maxime Martin shared a vehicle with Alexei Wassiljew and later Leonid Machitsky .
The change from the old DBRS9 to the new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 was announced for the fifth race of the season - however, since LMP withdrew from the series on the fourth race weekend of the season, no Aston Martin drove any more FIA GT1 World Championship in 2012. The Valmon Racing Team Russia remained without points in 2012.

In 2012, LMP only contested the first race of the season of the FIA GT3 European Championship with a vehicle for the Le Mans class winner Tom Kimber-Smith and the Russian driver Natalia Freidina .
