Marcos Garbellotto Pedroso , called Marquinhos Pedroso , (born October 4, 1993 in Tubarão ) is a Brazilian football player . The left-footed is used in defense on the left.

Career

Marquinhos Pedroso started his professional career at Figueirense FC . In 2012 he made the leap into the professional squad. On June 24, 2012, he played his first game in the Series A . In the game against EC Bahia he ran on from the start. He then sat on the reserve bench several times during the season and made four more appearances in the league. That year he played with Figu for the first time at international club level. He made his debut in the Copa Sudamericana 2012 on August 22, 2012. In the game against Atlético Goianiense he was in the starting line-up.

For the 2013 season, Marquinhos Pedroso was loaned to Guarani FC . With the club he played games in the Campeonato Paulista and one in the Copa do Brasil . Another loan in the same year to the EC Novo Hamburgo remained without assignments. In 2014 he played again with Figu and won the national championship of Santa Catarina in the spring . At the start of the league, he initially ran for his home club, but was then loaned to the league competitor Gremio Porto Alegre in the current competition . During the season he returned to Figueirense with only one appearance for Gremio .

The player scored the goal in an official competition in 2015 in the Copa do Brasil . On May 14, 2015 he scored in the game against Avaí FC in the 14th minute to make it 2-0. In the league, he hit the net for the first time in the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In the game against Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte he scored in the 66th minute the only goal of his team in the 5-1 defeat.

At the end of December 2016, another loan deal with the player became known. Marquinhos Pedroso was loaned to Gaziantepspor in Turkey until May 2018 . After it came with the club to difficulties with the salary payments, the contract was terminated prematurely and Pedroso was loaned to Hungary to Ferencváros Budapest for one year. When the loan ended, the contract with Figueirense also ended. Pedroso moved to the USA for FC Dallas on a free transfer . Marquinhos Pedroso will play his first Major League Soccer game in the 2018 season on July 29, 2018 in the away game against Sporting Kansas City . In that game he was in the starting line-up.

After starting the 2019 season with Dallas, he moved to league rivals DC United in May of that year . After only four appearances in the championship, the club announced after the season that they would no longer sign him for 2020 .
