The Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2015 was the 59th season of the Brazilian Série A .

Season course

The 2015 season of the Série A started on May 9th and ended on December 6th of the same year. At the same time, the Copa América 2015 took place in South America . The game operations in the league were not interrupted. On the 35th matchday, SC Corinthians from São Paulo became champions early. It was the club's sixth title win.

The season was marked by many coach changes, including the champions of the previous season Cruzeiro EC after just four match days. So there were 23 coach changes by matchday 26.

After the season, as every year, awards were given to the best players of the year. At the Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão , Renato Augusto was named the best player of the season by the Corinthians São Paulo champions. As a fan favorite was Nenê from CR Vasco da Gama announced. Renato Augusto from Corinthians São Paulo also won the “ Golden Ball ”, awarded by the sports magazine Placar . Ricardo Oliveira of FC Santos was the top scorer with 20 goals.
