Danilo Gabriel de Andrade or just Danilo or Zidanilo (born June 11, 1979 in São Gotardo ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .

Career

In 1999 Danilo became a professional footballer when he joined the Goiás EC squad . Right away he was able to win the Goiás state championship with these . The club also won this title in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Between 2000 and 2002, the offensive player won the Copa Centro-Oeste three times in a row with GEC . After Danilo developed into a capable player, he moved to São Paulo FC during the 2003 season . There he celebrated his greatest national and international successes. In 2005, the team made it to the final of the Copa Libertadores . On the way there they defeated top South American teams such as CF Universidad de Chile , Palmeiras São Paulo , CA River Plate and UANL Tigres . In the final on July 6th and 14th, the club then faced league competitor Athletico Paranaense . By 1: 1 and 4: 0 Danilo's club decided the two encounters in their favor. In the semi-finals of the competition against CA River Plate, he became one of the match winners when he was able to mark a goal in both games.
