The Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2007 was the 51th season of the Brazilian Série A .

Season course

The Série A started its new season on May 12, 2007 and ended on December 2, 2007. During the competition, the Pan-American Games also took place in Brazil from July 13 to 29 .

After the season, as every year, awards were given to the best players of the year. At the Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão , Rogério Ceni was named the best player of the season by São Paulo FC. Rogério Ceni was also the fan favorite. The “ Golden Ball ”, awarded by the sports magazine Placar , went to Thiago Neves from Fluminense FC . Josiel da Rocha from Paraná Clube was the top scorer with 20 goals .
