José Carlos da Silva , or Carlinhos Bala , (born September 17, 1979 in Recife ) is a Brazilian football player who was under contract with Sport Club do Recife .
Career
Carlinhos Bala began his professional career in 1999 at Santa Cruz FC , where he was already active in the youth department. After a short interlude at Náutico Capibaribe in 2001, he moved back to his home club in the same year. In 2002 the attacker ventured to Europe and was loaned to the Portuguese club SC Beira-Mar . Carlinhoas Bala made regular appearances for the first division team at the time, but did not make a breakthrough abroad. In 2004 he returned to Brazil, where he proved his scoring skills at Santa Cruz and in 2005 was the best attacker in the Pernambuco national championship. This aroused desires among the league competitors, so that Carlinhos Bala in 2006 moved to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte . The following season he was awarded to Sport Recife , where he made a significant contribution to winning the Campeonato Pernambuco and the Copa do Brasil in 2008. In 2009 Cruzeiro loaned him to Náutico Capibaribe, where the attacker rose to star and captain the team. After a short stay at Atlético Goianiense , the offensive player returned to Sport Recife in 2011, where he was introduced as a new signing in January of that year.
