Ramón da Silva Ramos , called Ramón , (born March 12, 1950 in Sirinhaém , Pernambuco ) is a former Brazilian football player and coach .

Career

Ramón was spotted at Usina Trapiche by Dario, a former América FC (PE) and Santa Cruz FC player . This brought Ramón to Santa Cruz. Ramón started his professional career at the club from Recife . He worked for this club for five years and did most of his assignments for it. His greatest achievement was earning the top scorer crown in the 1973 Brazilian championship .

Trivia

Ramón is married with five children and seven grandchildren.

The Jockey Club de Pernambuco is said to have hosted a Grande Prêmio Ramon in honor of Ramón.
