Charles Fabian Figueiredo Santos , called Charles Fabian or Charles Baiano , (born April 12, 1968 in Itapetinga , Bahia ) is a football coach and former Brazilian football player .

Career

player

Charles Fabian was able to start his career in 1988 with the first division club Bahia. Here he made a place in the starting line-up. His commitment in 1989 by FC Málaga from Spain was unsuccessful, so that he went back to Brazil after just one season and only two appearances. He came back to Bahia in 1990, where he was able to achieve the top scorer crown in the Brazilian championship in 1990 .

He was then signed by the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . Further successes and club changes followed, u. a. a season for Boca Juniors in Argentina .

Trainer

After a season with his hometown club Bahia in 2006, he only coached second-rate clubs. After that he was back at Bahia as a youth coach. On October 26, 2016, his commitment to Série D Club Anápolis FC was announced. After the club started the 2017 season with two defeats, Fabian was fired.
