Jádson Rodrigues da Silva , also known as Michael Jádson (born October 5, 1983 in Londrina ), is a Brazilian football player in midfield .

Career

Jádson played for Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense between 2003 and 2005 , before moving to Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk . With Shakhtar Donetsk he became champion of the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha in 2005, 2006 and 2008 . In the 2008/09 season he ensured, among other things, with his goal to 2-0 in the quarter-final first leg against Olympique Marseille , where he was named man of the game, for the entry of Donetsk into the UEFA Cup semi-finals . He also scored four goals in five games in the group stage of that year's Champions League (including three goals in a 5-0 win against FC Basel ).

In the final of the 2008/09 UEFA Cup he scored the decisive 2-1 winner against Werder Bremen in extra time .

For the 2016 season it was announced that the Brazilian would strengthen the second division side Tianjin Quanjian . He is said to have signed for two years. Jádson left for Brazil after just one year. At the beginning of February 2017, Corinthians announced his renewed engagement.

National team

Jádson made his first appearance for the Brazilian national team late . Half a year after the disappointing World Cup in South Africa, the midfielder made his first appearance in the Seleção in a friendly under new coach Mano Menezes . In the friendship game on March 27, 2011 against Scotland , Menezes offered him in the starting lineup. Since then, the midfielder has been regularly called up. In the summer of 2011, he was for the Copa America in Argentina nominated . In the second round game, in a 2-2 draw against Paraguay , Jádson made his competitive debut for Brazil and was also able to score his first goal in the national dress.
