Londrina (officially: Município de Londrina ; German: Little London ) is a large city in the Brazilian state of Paraná .
According to the 2010 census, Londrina has a total of 506,701 inhabitants, the IBGE estimate of July 1, 2013 indicates an increase to 537,566 inhabitants. Londrina, whose inhabitants are called Londrinese, is the second largest city in Paranás and the fourth largest city in southern Brazil.
After the state capital Curitiba , which is approx . 380 km away, and Maringá , approx. 100 km away , it is the third greenest city in Brazil.

Londrina is located in the hill country of the North Paraná region near the border with the state of São Paulo .

Londrina is divided into eight districts ( distritos ): Espírito Santo, Guaravera, Irerê, Lerroville, Maravilha Londrina, Paiquerê, São Luiz and Warta. There is also a division into 54 districts, the bairros , which are divided into the zones center, north, west, south and east.
