The Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2003 was the 47th season of the Brazilian Série A .

Season course

The Série A started its new season on March 29, 2003 and ended on December 14, 2003. The results of six games were canceled and reassessed due to irregular use of players (see appendix to the table)

After the season, as every year, awards were given to the best players of the year. The " Golden Ball ", awarded by the sports magazine Placar , went to Alex from the master Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . The top scorer with 31 goals was Dimba from Goiás EC .
