Luciano da Rocha Neves , called Luciano , (born May 18, 1993 in Anápolis , Goiás ) is a Brazilian football player . The left footer plays in the position of a striker.
Career
society
Luciano received his athletic training from Atlético Goianiense . He also managed the leap into the first team in 2012 and completed five games (one goal) in the Series A . In mid-2013, the player moved to the second division Avaí FC in Florianópolis . In February 2014 he was transferred to Corinthians São Paulo . While he was a regular player in his first season with 33 appearances (six goals), he was able to contribute five goals to the club's sixth title in just six games in 2015 due to an injury.
In August 2016 Luciano moved on loan to Spain for CD Leganés in the Primera División . The loan was limited to one year. He played his first game in the top Spanish league on September 22, 2016 against Deportivo La Coruña . In the away game, he ran on from the start. In the 55th minute he scored with a header, after a presentation by Gabriel Appelt , the goal for the interim 1: 1 (2: 1 for Leganés).
In July 2017, Neves moved to Panathinaikos Athens (soccer) . The contract had a term of three years and Corinthians retained 25% of the transfer rights. His first official game for Panathinaikos was also his first appearance in an international European competition. In the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League , Neves came on as a substitute for Anastasios Chatzigiovannis in the 70th minute in the home game against FK Qəbələ from Armenia on July 27, 2017 . On the first day of the Super League (Greece) season 2017/18 he was in the starting line-up on August 20, 2017 against AO Platanias . At the end of the season, Luciano Neves returned to Brazil. He signed a three-year contract with Fluminense Rio de Janeiro .
After just one year, Luciano moved to league rivals Gremio Porto Alegre . On July 29, 2019, it was presented as a reinforcement to the club. Grêmio took over 50% of the transfer rights. Contract had a term until the end of 2022. In exchange with Éverton , Luciano came to São Paulo FC in August 2020 .

Luciano was part of the Brazilian U-22 team at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . In four games he scored five goals. The team took third place.
